Whist the day job of Global Director Marketing Communications at a large firm of international accountants continues to occupy most of my waking hours I spend much of my spare time on the mountains of the UK either guiding or training others. Whilst I spend a good deal of time abroad I never miss the chance to be in the hills and moors of the UK. In April 2006 I was one of a small team which reached the Geomagnetic North Pole after a month on the ice, unsupported and pulling our own body weight behind us on sledges. Currently just back from a trip to the Himalayas and climbing Island Peak a 6198m mountain in the Everest range.
